Association of South African Refugees to the US (ASARUS) Information Registration (membership is free)

President Donald J. Trump has signed an Executive Order on February 7, 2025, Addressing Egregious Actions of the Republic of South Africa, granting South Afrikan minorities, refugee status and facilitating their resettlement in the United States. In response, thousands of South Africans have reached out for information regarding the process and implications of this order.  As far as we aware, the program is open for Afrikaans, English, Indian and Coloured minories who not BEE beneficiaries.

ASARUS was formed to source and provide timely and accurate information to South Africans who are interested in understanding the latest updates regarding this historic development. By registering with ASARUS, you will receive updates and guidance as new information becomes available.  With greater numbers, and as an association, we have more credibilty when talking to the US embassy.
